Hi I’m Kristie. Currently, I’m a sophomore at University of California, Berkeley.

Although I’ve been in Hong Kong for almost 19 years of my life, this city never failed to amaze me. I’m greatly impacted by the wide diversity of cultures as well as the dual colors of urban and rural areas. I guess that’s why I’m in double majoring in environmental science and environmental economics and policy now. I want to be close to nature but I like the city too. Torn between the two, I decided to work in environmental policies.

“Mesmerize Me Daily” got its name because I like the word “Mesmerize”. There’s no special reason really. I created this blog during the summer of 2015 because I wanted to get it off my bucket list. Also, I have never really been too good at communicating everything I want to verbally; thus, I’m using this blog as kind of a journal/diary.
